Thursday 3rd October

I forgot to put this one in the other day. Luke bought this after the flight to the Grand Canyon which is part of a Native American reservation.
 Off to school.
Dad and Luke bought tickets to the hockey.
Today we visited the Crime and Punishment museum which was excellent.

I got to print-off my fingerprint and it created a crime for me. Obviously, I wasn't too happy with my crime.
The boy second from the right.
I told the truth, I promise.

 A heat detecting image.

Luke and Dad had to try.

The real set of the TV show America's Most wanted.
 A face check.
Luke and I decided to combine our money and purchase this. It changes your voice in different ways.

We practically walked straight out of the Crime and Punishment museum and witnessed the following.
We arrived just after a car chase and shooting. Dad took these pictures.

Back to sightseeing. The Capitol building.

Question: Can anyone look cool on a Segway? Luke and Dad believe the answer is a big NO!

Pennsylvania Avenue

That's right Jen, more clam chowder.
Luke and Dad had a great time at the hockey.

The Washington Capitals' mascot is an eagle.
The 'puck drop' which starts the game.

Every game must have a fight. The referees just let them go for it.

Washington was down 3-0 but came back, and it was 4-4 at full time. They did unleash their fury!
A power play occurs when a team is penalised and they go down a player for 2 minutes.
I captured a goal being scored by 'our' team.

The sign in the middle shows the results of a decibel counter. The crowd is encouraged to raise the decibels regularly.
 A group hug.
The game went into overtime as the scores were locked at full time.
Then it went to a penalty shootout as extra time was scoreless.
 We won!

Man of the match was the captain and Russian superstar Alex Ovechkin.
The Capitals have two new fans.
